Yippis on the Rise
"Yippis on the Rise" is a section that is dedicated to helping emerging artists get discovered. Users are able to categorize themselves in to the 13 categories listed above as well as additional professions. Yippi.com users have the ability to vote daily for their favorite user in each category, giving these users a higher ranking (and presumably more exposure) on the site. Each category has a "Top 20" section where the top 20 highest ranking users in that category are listed, giving those users a chance to gain exposure for their work.
