Yash Dongre

Yash Dongre (born 28 May 1991) is an Indian entrepreneur, philanthropist and business head of House of Anita Dongre (HOAD). He is the son of Anita Dongre, a fashion designer from Mumbai, India. He completed his post graduation in International Marketing from Hult International Business School, United States.

Introduction

Yash Dongre is known for his social enterprise and have invested an undisclosed amount for CSR in Social Quotient, a company that claims a business-driven approach giving ROI and working in the domain of water, digitization, social cause marketing, renewable energy, skill development, education, rural development, agriculture and e-governance.


The company had introduced a project called "The Green Batti Project" (GBP), this project aims to make homeless people employable, GBP launched the first cycle with 200 mentees in Ahmedabad and 300 in Mumbai in October 2016.

As a philanthropist, Yash Dongre addressed over 2000 students at the annual United Nations Young Change Makers Conclave on Anita Dongre Grassroot's journey of adapting an enterprise approach towards sustainability.

Yash along with a manager who has worked with HOAD for a long time launched 2 store for the company in New York as a part of their expansion strategy.
