The Yana Lewis Dance Company or YLDC is an ensemble of Indian and international dancers based in Bangalore, India. The company was founded by Yana Lewis, a ballerina and choreographer from the UK. The Company's repertoire—all original works choreographed and directed by Yana Lewis—includes tribal-inspired sequences, the fusion of yoga and ballet, and new-age movement art. The company's core dancers have trained with Yana Lewis, and some have also trained abroad. YLDC has performed throughout India for corporates, hospitality concerns, event-management and media outfits, advertisements, commercials, charity shows and award ceremonies. At larger events, the company augments its core with additional part-time dancers.
