XPuyoPuyo

XPuyoPuyo is an implementation of the Puyo Puyo falling blocks puzzle game for X11, similar to KFoulEggs, except for, most notably, having multiplayer capabilities.
Play
The game is played with two players in four modes, Human vs AI, Human vs Human, Single Player, and Demonstration. In Demonstration Mode, two artificial intelligence players play against each other to show how the game is played. The controls are similar to Tetris. To play, the players must match at least four (although this number is configurable, it is default) blobs in groups (not necessarily rows), using pairs of blobs falling from the top of the field (again, similar to Tetris). These groups are eliminated from the field, and the blobs above it fall, which may make more groups (a "combo"). The game is won when the other player fills his pane to the top.
=== "Garbage" Blobs ===
When one player makes a combo, one or more "garbage" blobs are given to the other player. These reside at the top until the player places a falling pair of blobs. The "garbage" blobs fall into random positions.
Configuration
The game is configurable in the Options and AI menus. The AI difficulty, keys for human players, the theme (default is shown; others include Smileys, 3dRoks, and Spheres), among others is configurable.
