CX Racers is a racing game developed by Orbital Games planned for release on the PC. The game is the first installment of games developed by Orbital Games. The game is in its heavy design phase, with models and other resources about to be created. Gameplay The game will have the player drive around certain tracks, from many different environments, planning to win the races they enter. Helping them on their way, users can deploy items to prevent their opponents from overtaking in this fun filled game. Besides one player doing this, a second play can join, one taking on the role of the driver, the other taking on the role of the "weapons deployer". Therefore, this is a game that multiple people can enjoy. Players can choose from a range of characters and karts created and depending on which combination you pick can ultimately determine the outcome of a race. Featuring multiple modes such as a simple Single Player Race mode which includes Tournaments, and a multiplayer battle mode, CX Racers has many options for many different types of gamer. Development Announced on the 4th April 2008, CX Racers was planned to be a simple racing game. After decisions by the company, the game was decided upon being a kart racing game aimed at all audiences, so new time gamers can literally pick up and play the game. There are no other development comments as of yet.
