Wrong Warp

Wrong Warp is the series premiere of the Australian computer animated web series, Meta Runner. The episode follows Tari as she wakes up to find herself in Silica City and comes across a gaming store of the TAS Corp. organization. It was released on July 25, 2019.
Plot
The episode begins with former TAS Corp. scientist, Dr. Sheridan, giving a monologue about how society is now built around gaming and that people are hoping to become the best of the gamers. Among these gamers are “meta runners”, individuals who replaced their limbs with cybernetic prosthetics in order to enhance their gaming performances. Dr. Sheridan turns to Tari and ends his monologue with: “Wait until the world sees you… Tari!”
We then cut to Tari who wakes up on an operating table in the now abandoned laboratory but appears to suffer a case of amnesia. As she begins to leave the establishment, Tari experiences a few brief flashbacks of her training with Dr. Sheridan for his experiment code-named Project Blue until a sudden lab explosion occurs, killing both Sheridan and former TAS Corp. meta runner, Lucinia. Tari then stumbles through an alleyway and finds herself in a large city where she comes across people playing video games on TV screens on the streets and a Bot-Boy trying to show off his gaming chair skill (a reference to Pewdiepie's setup tour where he shows off his chair’s ability to go 180-degrees) as she walks around. She then looks through a window of a Cybercafé when a group of people suddenly takes notice of her cybernetic arm and an intrigued crowd gangs up on her.
Panicked and pressured, Tari notices a gaming store of the TAS Corp. organization and claims to be a member of said organization. Tari enters the store where she meets its robot salesman, Afro-Bot, who informs her that she is in Silica City. Tari then sees an Esports event in a small arena in the store where TAS Corp.'s number one speed runner, Belle Fontiere, is attempting a new glitch in Ultra Jump Mania to set the world record. Despite her best efforts, Belle blows it and storms off in frustration as the crowd disperses. An intrigued Tari takes up the controller and decides to try the game herself, A still-miffed Belle is unimpressed by Tari at first, only to see Tari is learning the game at a remarkable rate. However, as Tari continues to play, her eyes suddenly go blue and she goes into a trance. When Tari wakes up, she finds herself inside Ultra Jump Mania where she meets the game’s protagonist, Theo, who constantly hits her with his coconut, thinking she is a boss enemy.
Back in the real world, Belle calls in TAS Corp.'s head, Lucks, who was phoning the press about Belle’s failure. The two get into an argument for a moment, and Lucks threatens to replace Belle. The game screen starts working again and both of them see Tari inside the game, much to their surprise. Lucks then calls for the TAS Corp. scientists to investigate, ending the episode on a cliffhanger.
