World War XVII is global war from the fictional manga of MAGCannon. It is said to be the war that caused civilization on Earth to end due to the massive damage of Earth's resources, environment, and land. During this time period, the countries of the Earth were divided into 5 factions each of which decided to wage war in the conquest for total power. This brought upon the start of World War XVII.
The end of World War XVII resulted in the all of Earth's inhabitants evacuating into space, and forced to seek another suitable planet for the humans to develop and survive. Until then, factions continue to live in space station colonies, fighting wars amongst each other, claiming planets as if they were open territory, in hopes to rebuilding human civilization.
