World Paragliding Association

World ParaGliding Association is the follow-on organization from Kite Information Technology Exchange Society of America (K.I.T.E.S.A. or KITESA), Self-Soar Association (S-SA), and the first United States Hang Glider Association (USHGA). These were founded by Joe Faust and are expressed online in the new century as World ParaGliding Association (WPGA). It is a hobby organization without membership dues while open to anyone in the world; the WPGA is not selling anything, has an international waiver, and a set of benefits for its members. The former publications whose text are fully available to WPGA are Low & Slow , Hang Glider Magazine, Hang Glider Business Weekly, Hang Glider Weekly. Space online for WPGA is donated by EnergyKiteSystems. WPGA is a member of the Airborne Wind Energy Industry Association {AWEIA) international. The "govern lightly" purpose respects Fédération Aéronautique Internationale but serves beyond such; members advance the tools of WPGA. The United States Hang Gliding & Paragliding Association features the first 24 issues of Low & Slow in their primary-history CD. Since mid 1960s the text of correspondents in those publications frequently supported the mechanical foundation of ballasted masses tethered to wings set in gliding flight as instances of kite, indeed, gliding kite with moving anchor, the primary mechanical foundation of KITESA, S-SA, USHGA, and now their child: WPGA. The recent years' publication for WPGA is the monthly LIFT.
