Background The event marked the professional debut of Vitor Ribeiro. Bruce Buffer was the announcer for the event. Dave Bontempo and Maurice Smith provided commentary for the event. In the main event Rich Franklin submitted Marvin Eastman. Eastman argued with the referee that he had not been submitted and that the fight had been stopped prematurely.
