Woolworths Mobile

Woolworths Mobile is an Australian budget Mobile phone service provider, formerly known as "Everyday Mobile" and "Woolworths Connect". The mobile service was launched in 2009 when Woolworths teamed up with Singapore Telecommunications Ltd owned Optus, in a pre-paid service called Woolworths Everyday Mobile. Woolworths Mobile was relaunched using the Telstra Network to provide their service.
Branding and logo
Woolworths Mobile products carry the Hans Hulsbosch designed logo, this logo was developed for Woolworths supermarkets originally. This gives Woolworths mobile the look and feel of the Woolworths family of products.
Products and services
Woolworths Mobile offers both pre-paid and post-paid Phone services, on 3G and 4G network.
Brand Ambassadors
Former NRL player Beau Ryan was a brand ambassador for Woolworths mobile (Woolworths Connect at the time). Ryan was later dropped from his role as a brand ambassador for Woolworths Connect following allegations that he cheated on his wife of three years with former Hi-5 member Lauren Brant. "Woolworths Connect has ended its partnership with Beau Ryan".
Network Provider
Woolworths Mobile has a wholesale agreement with Telstra to enable the supermarket chain to become a virtual network operator. This agreement focuses on providing mobile services using parts of Telstra’s 3 and 4G networks.
Prior to Telstra, Optus was Woolworths’ mobile virtual network operator (MVNO). This agreement ended in September 2013, the announcement came after the collapse of Kogan Mobile following the termination of the agreement between Telstra and ispONE.
