Wolfgang Müller (banking executive)

Wolfgang Müller (born 1957) is a German banker who has been chief executive officer (CEO) of BBBank from 2002 to 2021.
Biography
From 1980, Müller attended the University of Karlsruhe, where he graduated in 1986 with a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in industrial engineering and management (Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen), specializing in finance, banking and mechanical engineering, as well as a Phd in finance in 1991. His doctoral dissertation was entitled Aktienbewertung und Unternehmensinformationen (Stock valuation and company information). On January 1, 2000, he became a member of the Board of Directors. In 2021, Oliver Lüsch succeeded him as CEO, with Müller remained as a board member of until 2022.
