Wobbly bob

Wobbly Bob is a 7-piece Third Wave Ska band from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, England. Though a relatively new band, Wobbly Bob have performed with many successful acts from both the UK and US, including The Toasters, Jaya the Cat, Sonic Boom Six, Fandangle and Billy No Mates.
History
Formation
Wobbly Bob was formed in 2006, when Pete Dawes, Jay Walshe and Andy Moulster; three members of Progressive Metal group, Hyperkinetic (fronted by Bad Pollyanna singer, Olivia Hyde); decided they didn't want to do Prog anymore, and that musical devices such as groove, riffs and catchy melodies, at least for them, were more fun to work with. Ska seemed the obvious choice as Pete had previously been in two other Third Wave Ska groups, FiND28 and Lifeguard, and Andy was a big fan of the genre.
Currently Wobbly Bob are the only well known purely Ska Punk band (ie: not Ska-core) in the West Yorkshire Music Scene, and are developing a wide fan base due to this fact.
Name Origin
No-one is certain who came up with the name Wobbly Bob, but it was an idea that had been thrown around a few times during the early days. Though it was decided to keep the name when later members, James Harvey and Brian Dickson, announced that it was the name of a very good local beer and that the rest of the group should try it. Phoenix Breweries Wobbly Bob, indeed, turned out to be very tasty and, true to its name, highly intoxicating. Therefore, the name stuck.
