Wisconsin Drunk Driving

Wisconsin is notorius for having a lot of DUI convictions because of it's reputation for drinking. Wisconsin has the highest rating of drunk driving fatalities out of all driving fatalities in the United States. The limit of BAC is .08 in the state of Wisconsin.
History
In 1990 35,753 got OWI, then in 2000 38,324 got OWI also in 2000 an average of one person was killed or injured in an alcohol-related crash every 74 minutes on Wisconsin roadways. A fourth DUI faces 60 days to one year in a county jail and a fine of $600 to $2,000. Generally, the driver’s license suspension period is two to three years. A person who commits a fifth or subsequent DUI faces six months to six years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000. Generally, the driver’s license suspension period is two to three years. If your younger than 21 you can be convicted with an OWI if your BAC is above .02.
