Wireless CPUs are cellular embedded processing devices that have the capability to natively execute pre-compiled standards based ANSI C applications via the use of the Open AT OS Software Suite. There are 3 types of Wavecom Wireless CPUs, categorised by their physical form factor: Plug & Play Series Fastrack and Integra Wireless CPUs allow rapid development of industrial M2M products as a result of a form factor which allows connection to standard RS232 ports, SPI and I²C buses. ARM7 core processors provide the ANSI C application execution environment. Quik Series The Quik series is designed for medium to large scale industrial M2M and automotive product design and is built in to a product design PCB. ARM7 and ARM9 core processors provide the ANSI C application execution environment. Wireless Microprocessor The Wireless Microprocessor is designed for high volume manufacturing and has an ARM9 core processor to provide the ANSI C application execution environment. The form factor is BGA based, enabling high volume manufacting techniques to be used. Wavecom
