Winsight, also known as Winsight Media and formerly CSP Information, is an American media company based in Chicago, Illinois. It was founded in 1990 and is mainly focused on media and events related to food, retail, and research. The company became responsible for organizing FSTEC, a Dallas-based conference, in 2014 after acquiring its administration. After it was renamed as Winsight, the company acquired Technomic, founded by Ron Paul, in 2015. The National Restaurant Association Show joined Winsight Media in 2018. Since then, the company has been responsible for organizing its events. Winsight currently manages local and global trade shows and events about restaurants, food, retail, and other related areas. As of 2022, Mike Wood is the CEO of the Winsight Media. Subsidiaries and events The company has five subsidiaries, which include Restaurant Business Online, Food Services Director, CSP Daily News, Technomic, and Winsight Grocery Business. In addition, it organizes local and global exhibitions and events associated with the food and retail domains, such as the Restaurant Leadership Conference, FSTEC, Global Restaurant Leadership, and the Restaurant Association Show. Research and publications With the association of its subsidiaries, the company provides research and analytical reports for restaurant businesses. It also publishes online magazines.
