Willow Row Barrow is a modern barrow memorial site near St Neots, Cambridgeshire. It is the first round barrow to have been built in the UK for thousands of years and contains niches for the placement of cremation urns. It is also intended for wider celebration of life and community activity. The structure is a sequence of stone chambers under an earthen mound, and was opened in 2016. The barrow is one of the early monuments in a contemporary revival of barrow building. Academic commentary The building of this monument has been recorded academic writing and is also subject of PhD study.
