William Janetos

William Vasilios Janetos (born December 30, 1992 in Thessaloniki, Greece) is a Canadian soccer player who currently plays for St. Catharines Wolves in Canadian Soccer League.
Career
Youth
Janetos began his club career with Club Roma youth teams beginning at the age of U10. In 2010, he joined the St. Catharines Wolves new Reserve Team in the Canadian Soccer League reserve division.
Professional
Near the end of the 2010 CSL season, Janetos was among the call-ups to the first team for their mid-season tilt against the Brantford Galaxy Soccer Club. Janetos performed admirably in his debut against the eventual league champions. In 2011 with Roma under a new management staff, it was announced he would once again be assigned to the reserve squad, as a primary call-up for the first team throughout the season.
University
After graduating from Denis Morris Catholic High School in 2010, Janetos was accepted into Brock University's Physical Education and Kinesiology program, Janetos joined the Badgers men's soccer team after missing much of training camp with a leg injury. In his first Ontario University Athletics contest, Janetos came on as a second half substitute against the University of Ontario Institute of Technology Ridgebacks. Janetos was subsequently sent off after kicking a player in the back of the head after a tackle.
