Wilfredo Fernandez (1960 - ) - better known simply as Wilfredo - is a Spanish singer and guitarist.
Born Wilfredo Paco Jose Rodriguez Fernandez in Granada, Andalucia, Spain, he is the fourth son of Paola and Vicente Fernandez. A popular child star in the flamenco tradition, known as "El Niño de Granada" (The Child from Granada) or "El Cuarto Chico" (the Fourth Boy), he grew to become one of Andalucia's most prominent musical stars during the latter years of the Franco dictatorship.
Many of his early recordings can be found on several compilation albums on the Latin arm of the Columbia Records label.
With his dramatic stage gestures and a vocal range spanning five octaves, he is currently gaining a cult following in the Anglophile world.
