Wild and Untamed Thing

"Wild and Untamed Thing" is the last song of the Floor Show in "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." It is technically the film's sixteenth song, featured directly after "Fanfare/Don't Dream It, Be It". Frank bursts into a jubilant but melancholy song describing the effects of the drugs that hides his pain and perhaps loneliness. After singing the chorus three times, Riff Raff (and a silent Magenta) interrupt and declare a betrayal of Frank's rule.
Origin
The song was written by Richard O'Brien in the late 60's early 70's. It was not written with the intention of being in the stage play. The song's name refers to how much of a party animal the singer is. Although the song has a different title, it contains the lyrics of the main song "Rose Tint My World".
Chord Progression
The song features the exact same chord progression as the start of "Rose Tint My World" as well as the Brad and Janet sections. It leads directly into the third-last song of the soundtrack, "" and marks the end of the Floor Show.
The movie/DVD version of the songs opens with a C7 over the "My, my, my..." lyrics . The verse begins with F-Bb-F-G-C7. The "Let the party and the sounds..." is over a F-Bb-F progression, followed by F-C-Bb-F over the chorus.
Riff Raff enters and sings over Bb-Bbm-F-F7-Bb-Bbm-F-C chords.
