thumb Wil Schroter is a serial entrepreneur and the CEO and founder of Startups.com, a Startup Launch Platform. Career Wil founded his first company, Blue Diesel, as a 19-year-old student at the Ohio State University. Three years later, he merged Blue Diesel with inChord Communications where, as CEO and Board Member. In 2003, the company was purchased and renamed inVentiv, now Syneos Health (NASDAQ: SYNH) Following the sale of Blue Diesel, Wil founded Virtucon Ventures, an idea-stage incubator for web startups. In 2012, Wil founded Startups.com, a startup launch platform. which generated several hundreds of millions of dollars in startup investments. The company is based in Columbus, Ohio and employs over 200 individuals. In 2020, Wil and Startups.com launched Founder Groups, 8-person cohorts of startup Founders who meet monthly to unpack complex startup problems. The service has membership ranging from LA, SF, NY, Tokyo, London, and Dubai. Media Wil has contributed to columns in multiple networks, most notably Forbes, Entrepreneur, and The Wall Street Journal.
