Introduction Wikiport is described as a method of community based Technical support through the use of Wiki software. This differs from traditional technical support in that it is a communal environment where all users, including technical support personnel contribute to resolve problems with an equally authoritative contribution. The use of wiki software as an enterprise collaboration platform is notably demonstrated by Cisco Systems with the launch of the Cisco Support Wiki by Cisco's Technical Services group.
