Wikinap

Wikinap is the term used among editors when they become tired of what are perceived to be irrational edit wars. It was first used in talk:WikiProject College football around a wording discusion concerning the use of the phrase "compete in" versus "member of" when referring to a college football team (i.e. University of Minnesota (competes in)/(is a memember of) the Big Ten Conference.

Editors who tire of the discussion may say they are taking a "wikinap" to indicate weariness of the topic and desire to have discussions that they consider more apporpriate.
