How to make Pop-Up Book(Wheel book)

These days Book Art attracts many people's attention. Book Art is not only an art but also a material for education. Especially the Pop-Up Book, it is loved by children. The children are interested in the Pop-Up Book very much. The Pop-Up Book is not just a reading book. We can use the Pop-Up Book for reading and writing activities effectively.
Also children can get achievement by making a book for themselves. What is a Pop-Up Book? Pop-Up means movable. A Pop-Up Book is a book which includes some movable elements. There are many elements in a Pop-Up Book. For example, there are the Parallel folds, the Angle folds, the Wheel folds, the Pull-tabs and so on. Now, we'll learn how to make the Wheel Book. For making the Wheel Book we need these supplies.

Pencil, Color pencil, Ruler, Compass, A3 papers, Scissors, Fixing pin, Glue, Mat

When making Wheel Book the following steps should be taken:

A. Fold the paper in half and repeat again. After that, spread the paper, draw a half circle, like a rainbow shape on the bottom right side and cut. Cut the paper like a half moon on the edge of the right side(About 3cm diameter.). You can spin the wheel board by that cut section. It's just a backing sheet.

B. Draw a big circle on the other paper and cut. After that fold in half and spread the wheel. Draw a day scene (i.e. sun, cloud, rainbow) on the upper side and draw a night scene(i.e. moon, star) on lower one. Carefully, you must cut the wheel bigger than the rainbow shaped on the backing sheet.

C. After turning the backing sheet, fix the wheel on the bottom right side using a fixing pin. Carefully, attach loosely on the center point when you fix the wheel. If not, the wheel won’t spin smoothly. Next, fold the upper side down. Finally you just write your story on the left side.
