Wewaii

Wewaii is a German multiplayer online browser-based simulation game developed by Travian Games. It was first released as an open beta in May 2009, and the stable German release was on 1 August 2009.
In the game, the player has the role of a hotel manager who is trying to satisfy their customers. It is playable in English and German.
History and development
Travian Games revealed its intention to release a hotel management simulation game, codenamed project Hawaii, in early 2008. The game was renamed to Wewaii and the open beta test was launched in May 2009. The first English language version was released in November 2009.
Gameplay
On registering, the player, who has the role of a hotel managers, builds a hotel and advertises it.
Interaction with other players is limited to talking to them using the chat function, sending them a postcard in-game (with the option of attaching a treasure chest or fireworks to it) and leaving entries in their guestbook.
Recognition
Wewaii won the Best Browsergame 2010 award from Deutsche Computerspielpreis. It also won Browser Game of the Year 2009 from BrowserGameOfTheYear.com.
