Western Imperium

The Western Imperium is a neo-Nazi concept based on pan-Aryanism—the unification of the Aryan race (defined as non-Jews of European ancestry)—under a sole autocratic state. This state would hypothetically rise after the fall of what neo-Nazis call the Zionist Occupation Government (ZOG). The Western Imperium would become a sort of world empire encompassing lands under strong Aryan influence. These territories would include Europe, all of Russia, the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico (the northern part facing the U.S.) and Southern South America (specifically Chile, Argentina, southern Brazil and Uruguay). Led by a Führer-like figure, the state would incorporate a similar government structure and laws to Nazi Germany. The concept shares similarities with the neo-Nazi idea of a German Fourth Reich.
Origin of the concept
The concept of Western Imperium is based on a 1948 book called Imperium: The Philosophy of History and Politics by Francis Parker Yockey. Yockey followed the historical theory of Oswald Spengler, who estimated that Western civilization would reach its imperial phase around 2000 AD. However, Spengler saw the "Russian plains" as the homeland of the Russian culture, which was distinct from the Western "Faustian" culture. Therefore, the incorporation of Russia into the Western Imperium would be unlikely; Spengler even classed the Russians, together with some other European people, like the Italians, as non-white "colored races". According to Yockey, Western civilization has been delayed in its progress towards achieving its imperial phase because of the negative presence of the Jews, whom he saw as advocating cosmopolitanism. The purpose of establishing the Western Imperium would be to complete this progress.
Proposed policies
Areas with strong white influence would be a central part of the Western Imperium; notably Europe and Anglo-America. Russia would be acquired for the mere reminiscence of Hitler's lebensraum goal despite Russians being labeled as "Untermenschen" and half apes. Other lands colonized by and with a majority of whites such as Australia, New Zealand, and Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Central Asia, and Uruguay would also be included. Only people of prominent Aryan ancestry would be full citizens of the State. All others would be second-class citizens. A society similar to South Africa under apartheid would be set up. Racial segregation would be imposed throughout the Western Imperium. Miscegenation would be outlawed and there would be affirmative action for Aryans to make up for years of reverse discrimination. People of any African descent would be relocated in segregated Bantustans. American Indians would be confined to their reservations. Jews and non-Aryan Muslims, as well as non-white illegal immigrants would be expelled. The eventual goal would be a 100% homogenous population of pure Aryans. Education for the entire Aryan population would be ensured, with a guarantee of free college education.
The Aryan race would be led by a Führer, who in concert with the leaders of the party, would determine policy. There would also be input from the lower echelons of the party. There would be a military draft and television would be used extensively for propaganda. There would be strict environmental protection laws and laws protecting animal rights. A vigorous and aggressive program of space exploration would also be carried out.
All Aryans would be encouraged to bring up their reproductive rate from its present negative population growth rate average of 1.3. However, out of concern for the environment, Aryans would be encouraged not to have more than two children each after replacement rate reproduction (zero population growth)—a growth rate of 2.1—has been achieved. As in the novel Brave New World, Aryans would be encouraged to establish a eugenics program utilizing genetic engineering and possibly cloning to improve the race by creating designer babies.
While most neo-Nazis simply want to secure a future for the Aryan race from the "depredations" of population decline and non-white immigrant invasion, by the principle of ethnopluralism, many neo-Nazis don't want to interfere with other races, although they want them to be separate.
It is usually envisioned that the flag of the Western Imperium would be like the red Nazi flag, except that instead of a black swastika in the white circle would be a Celtic cross (sun cross). Some neo-Nazi groups, such as the Libertarian National Socialist Green Party envisage using a green flag for the Western Imperium to express concern about preserving the environment.
Portrayals in popular culture
In the Star Trek chronology, after World War III in the late 21st century, recovery is accomplished partly by the European Hegemony, an authoritarian state in Europe similar to the Western Imperium. In of the third season of the TV show Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, the neo-Nazi group National Society for a Better America (NSBE) attempts to establish an autocratic state similar to the Western Imperium.
