The West Middlesex Family History Society, or WMFHS for short, is a Society whose main purpose is to enable its members to carry out research into their family history. It was formed in 1978, long before the internet started to provide new ways of researching into family history. The society has about 270 members (2017). It is a registered charity, and is affiliated to the Federation of Family History Societies.
