Central Jersey Paranormal Research Association

Central Jersey Paranormal Research Association, more commonly known as the CJPRA, is a paranormal research and investigation group based in central New Jersey. The group is just one of many paranormal research and investigation groups in the state of New Jersey. They investigate various types of places with paranormal claims, such as private homes, offices, historical locations and cemeteries, free of charge in New Jersey, the New York City area and eastern Pennsylvania.

Methods & Technique
Like many other paranormal investigation groups they use various types of equipment to detect the presence of paranormal activity. They use various types of cameras, film and digital, emf meters, thermometers, digital recorders and other types of equipment as well. They use this equipment to document evidence of possible paranormal activity.

They investigate locations in teams of two or more. Each team uses specific equipment and documents their experiences and procedures during the investigation. Their goal during an investigation is to rule out or "debunk" the claims of paranormal activity by finding alternative causes for the alleged phenomena.

History
The group was formed by members who had investigated with other groups and individually. They decided to form their own group around early 2007. They are currently located in Metuchen New Jersey, in Middlesex County, but are looking for a new location for headquarters. The CJPRA currently has around 15 members.

Internet Radio
In early 2008 they began an internet radio shown known as InnerVision Radio on blogtalkradio.com. The show airs every week, mostly on Fridays at 11pm eastern standard time. The show is a paranormal talk radio show similar to The Atlantic Paranormal Society's Beyond Reality Radio and Taps Family Radio.
