West Coast Racers

West Coast Racers is an upcoming quadruple launch racing coaster that will open at Six Flags Magic Mountain in 2019 as their 20th coaster. It was announced on August 29th, at a live event in the park. The unique racing coaster will have one long track that goes around twice, giving the impression of a dual track; just like the park's existing Twisted Colossus, except the cars are timed more perfectly so as to race. This is dubbed the first ever quadruple launch coaster in the world, and will actually be the world's first racing launch coaster. (Note; this is semi true, since the Fiorano GT Challenge exists at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, but isn't a Möbius loop coaster). The trains will also be designed by West Coast Customs, as they have partnered with Six Flags Magic Mountain and Premier Rides to bring this unique attraction to life.
Ride experience
Riders board one of three trains and exit the station, meeting the other train on the track. They then blast through the first dual launch, make a turn around with some high five elements similar to those on Twisted Colossus, and proceed into the second dual launch in the opposite direction as the first one. Following the majority of the rides inversions and more high five elements, the tracks race side by side in a giant figure 8 over the go-karts and then hit the brake run. While the second car returns to the station, the first car enters a unique "pit stop", providing them an exclusive look into a West Coast Customs shop. They then return to the launch track as the second train, and race another lap.
The two tracks are both very similar but not quite, as they each have an inversion in a part of the ride where the other does not.
Color scheme and theme
The coaster has an evident West Coast Customs theme, and has a eye popping color scheme of yellow and white track, as well as black supports. It will be located in the old Cyclone Bay area, which will get revamped as an urban, crazy LA style area that gives off a "high energy street vibe". The existing attractions in this area are Apocalypse The Ride and the Cyclone 500 go-karts, both of which will receive re-themes. Several new dining, retail, and games buildings and areas will be added to the area.
