Wes melcher

Wes Melcher, born December 31, 1977 in Lubbock, Texas is a speaker, sales strategist, entrepreneur and investor. He is currently a top earner and national trainer for a four-year-old travel company, WorldVentures. He is the founder and CEO of OnlyForTravelAgents.com. He has also been the President of NeedSpringBreak.com. Melcher's background as an entreprenear began at a young age where he started several businesses before graduating high school. He has since started half a dozen companies, and consulted for start-up companies in areas ranging from Australia, New Zealand and the United States.
BACKGROUND AND CAREER
Melcher is son to Kathy Shipp, and Phillip Michael Melcher out of Texas. He attended his young school days in West Texas, and then moved on to Texas State University where he graduated with a Political Science degree. In college, following his passion for travel, Melcher created a popular college spring break company out of Costa Rica, NeedSpringBreak.com. In less than three months Melcher grew that company to generate over $200,000 in revenues. His direct sales background also began in college in 1997 working with a 60-year-old company, Vector Marketing. There, he broke many of the company's sales records.
In 2004, Melcher was first exposed to the network marketing industry. In 2005, he helped establish and create a travel-based network marketing company, WorldVentures. Melcher is now ranked quarterly as one of the company's top ten earners. Quickly after the company started, he was the second person to hit the top rank in the company, IMD. He has a network of people in his organization in excess of 35,000 people. As a national trainer for the company, he speaks to thousands of new marketing representatives across the United States, and recently the United Kingdom.

In 2006, Melcher was featured on HGTV's reality show, House Hunters as a new home buyer looking for a property in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was also recently featured at a charity event with NFL player, Roy Williams and his Safety Net Foundation.
