Notable for publicising Awasete Ippon,WeRaise was developed by GoldandGrey.com (a mobile app development site) as a search engine that also raises money for various charities. According to their website, they donate 1 penny (£0.01) per valid search using there website or mobile app and support various UK based charities. Although other sites had tried raising money for charity via a search engine, WeRaise is thought to be the first to launch a mobile app that raises for charity. The mobile app is known simply as "Search Engine" and went to market on 23 May 2011. |
