Wayne Larsen is a neo-psychedelic rock guitarist best known for being the front man for The Laughing Soup Dish, as well as being a guitarist in The Secret Syde and the Leather Joy Boys. Laughing Soup Dish Wayne Larsen was the founding member and front man of Laughing Soup Dish. The band released two albums, "Underthrow the Overground" and "We Are the Dish," on the BOMP Records label. The band appeared on several television shows to support these albums. They also released two singles, the most popular of which was "Teenage Lima Bean." The Secret Syde Wayne Larsen joined The Secret Syde when the band opened for the Dead Kennedys in 1986. Wayne Larsen, Jon Davies, and Rob Angello continued their musical involvement after the band's breakup. When The Secret Syde reunited in 2001, Larsen was on hand. Recent Activities He owned the "guitar emporium" in Long Branch, New Jersey for several years, but relocated to Denton, Maryland where he currently operates a music store. He reported, in 2008, that he would be moving back to New Jersey later that year, and was talking with Jon Davies about potentially performing together again.
