Conceived by current host Wayne DZ back in 1984, The Alternative Music show was being aired under the title of The Punk Show ... joining DZ was a co-host named Governor Kenny.
Sometime in the mid 90's with the departure of the Governor, The Alternative Music Show was spawned.. dedicated to filling the gap of hard to find independent music from here and around the world...
It's main area of interest was delving into the origins of experimental and underground music encompassing the 1960s garage rock and psychedelic music scene, and the left of field vinyl oddities that filled the gap through to the 70's punk rock scene and underground music scene of today.
The Alternative Music Show has been on air for 24 years, and prides itself on digging up the obscure, the strange and Rare Vinyl record offerings from around the World...
