Waterbeach F.C.

Waterbeach F.C. is an English football club based in Waterbeach, Cambridgeshire. The club are currently members of the Cambridgeshire Football Association County League Premier Division and are charter registered by the Cambridgeshire County Football Association and governing body of football. Waterbeach F.C play at the Waterbeach Recreation Ground situated behind the Beach Social Club and are currently managed by Matty Maltby.
History
Waterbeach Football team was established in 1902, They were re-established as a club in 1950 by members of the Waterbeach Royal Air Force who amalgamated the RAF Waterbeach football team with Atlas Sports club football team creating Waterbeach F.C. and making them one of the oldest senior football clubs in Cambridgeshire.
In 1950, the club were elected to the Cambridgeshire Eastern Counties League when they amalgamated with Atlas Sports Club in Division 4.
In 1982, Waterbeach F.C were managed by Geoff Fowler. Geoff took Waterbeach F.C. to league victory three times in the seasons of 1984, 1985 and 1994. Terry Harris enjoyed league victory in 2008 and cup victory the following season 2009 winning the Centenary Cup.
Matty Maltby took the reigns as manager of Waterbeach Football Club with Jamie Carter as his No 2 in September 2012 stating to the Cambridge News that "it will be a tough job but one that he relishes the thought of".
