History
The company was originally named ShopCo Holdings when founded in 2011. ShopCo Holdings was a venture created by eight of the leading media and publishing companies, with assets from the acquisition of Travidia Inc., the developer of Find&Save®. was named chief executive officer of the digital media partnership in April 2011. In September 2012, the company re-launched as Wanderful Media. to help connect retail advertisers with millions of consumers nationwide. In total, the company has raised $36 million in funding.

Wanderful Media is privately funded and headquartered in Los Gatos, California. They also have a development and operations office in downtown Chico, California. Scripps Company, Gannett Company, GateHouse Media, Hearst Corporation, Lee Enterprises, MediaNews Group, The McClatchy Company and The Washington Post Company.

The company also has strong media partnerships, connecting consumers and retailers through more than 300 local shopping sites with commitments to expand to 600 sites by the end of 2013.
