Walsingham Public School is a defunct rural elementary school that used to be located in Walsingham, Ontario, Canada. Due to funding cutbacks and declining enrolment, this school was closed. Prior to being closed, this school was a feeder school to Valley Heights Secondary School and was located just miles south of the high school. Near the start of every school year, all students attended the Langton Fair to get away from school work and to get ready for the Norfolk County Fair and Horse Show in October.
Due to the nearby presence of the Old Colony Mennonite School which taught the local German Mennonite population, the public school had to attract students from both the northern part and the southern part of Walsingham Township. One of the most notable teachers who taught in this school was Mr. Geoff Suderman-Gladwell who has worked in music-related careers in both the U.S. and Canada.
