Apollo Elementary School

Apollo Elementary School is located in the East Renton Highlands, Washington and serves grades kindergarten through 5th. Apollo is part of the Issaquah School District and is a feeder school for Maywood Middle School and Liberty Senior High School.

The State Department of Education in 1998 highlighted Apollo's academic success. As one of 26 Washington schools lauded for dramatically improved student performance, Apollo's strong instructional methods have been models for other schools. Apollo is also a host site for the district's MERLIN program.

In 2004, Apollo's student population had dropped from over 700 to under 400 students. This was due in large part to the completion of nearby Newcastle Elementary School.
