Waleed A. Alrodhan

Waleed A. Alrodhan (born 1981) is a Saudi academic and researcher in the field of computer and information sciences, with a specialization in information security and privacy. He is currently the Dean of the College of Computer and Information Sciences at Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University in Saudi Arabia.
Early life and education
Waleed A. Alrodhan earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at King Saud University in 2002. He later pursued graduate studies at Royal Holloway, University of London, where he obtained a Master of Science degree with distinction in 2005 and a Doctor of Philosophy in Information Security in 2011.
Career
After gaining practical experience in industry—as a system integration engineer, information security engineer, and smart-card application developer—Alrodhan transitioned to academia. He joined Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University in 2003 as a teaching assistant. In September 2016, he was appointed as the Dean of the College of Computer and Information Sciences by Saudi Arabia's Minister of Education, H.E. Dr. Ahmad Al-Essia.
