Waiting For Wednesday is a band formed by Taylor Mabe and Joel Collins in the summer of 1997 in Walnut Cove, North Carolina, which is a small town just outside of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Joel Collins brother (Justin Collins) came on board as the bands first drummer. Followed by Dwaine Wall, who became the bands vocalist. Codeseven's bassist, Jon Tuttle, was the last addition to the bands first line-up. The 5 guys recorded "Thinking of Paris" EP with Producer Jamie King, who has produced and engineered records by Between The Buried and Me, He is Legend, and Swift. In 2001 the only original members left were Taylor Mabe and Dwaine Wall, who have since made up the band Waiting For Wednesday, and are now the sole songwriters of the band. In 2001 the band released the Changes LP, which contained a version of The Cure's "Just Like Heaven" along with the 10 originals. Waiting For Wednesday's most recent lineup is that of Taylor Mabe, Dwaine Wall, Todd Simmons, and Chris Fulp. As of 2008 the band has been on a hiatus until further notice. Taylor and Dwaine are still the core members of Waiting For Wednesday and the latest LP "Return of Radio" has never been officially released.
