W2wlink is an online community for professional women in times of growth - the site provides rich resource and connects women into free, private peer networking circles to pursue their growth journey. W2wlink.com circles are online peer groups of up to ten women with groups including corporate fast track, entrepreneurial journey, career transition and work-life balance for moms.
History
W2wlink.com is owned by w2w Media, LLC and was founded in March 2007. A beta test site was up by the summer of 2007, with a published online version released in the fall of 2007. A fully functional site was officially launched February 15, 2008 and within its first month thousands of professional women logged in and signed up to become members. In addition, engagement was established with strategic corporate and association partners. Content is written by professional authors and experts and sorted by categories on the site under Worksmart, Innerself, Connections, and Wellness. The authors and experts include: Wanda Brice, CEO of the Women's Museum, Dr. Marsha Firestone from the Women's President Organization, Dr. Elaine Eisenman, Dean at Babson College, and Dr. Kathleen Hall of the Stress Institute. The site also has as a section on Events and Seminars for professional women.
Members can join a peer networking circle with up to 10 other women after the creation of a confidential profile. Here they can share common interests to learn, seek advice and share viewpoints.
w2wlink although international in its membership, is headquartered at 8150 N. Central Expressway, Suite 1901, Dallas, Texas 75206. Lisbeth McNabb is the founder and CEO of w2wlink.com. She has built the site based upon her experiences as former strategist and CFO at match.com. Previously she was at PepsiCo., Frito-Lay and Sodexho Marriott.
Company Founder - Lisbeth McNabb Lisbeth received her Bachelor of Science, Marketing, from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, Nebraska. She then went on to earn her MBA in Finance and Marketing from Southern Methodist University. Her additional training includes Entrepreneurship Executive Education - Babson College (Sodexho sponsored), Executive Presentations with Acting Coach, Executive Leadership Coach, and years of management, leadership and presentation training.
Lisbeth is active in the Women Corporate Directors, Finance Executive International, Women Foodservice Forum, TeXchange, Board Member of Nexstar, Nasdaq, American Airlines Advisory Board - Professional women strategy, Finance Executive International - Dallas Chapter Program Chair, Advisor to a number of entrepreneurial companies during a key stage including, Design Block Zero, Noofangle Media, Women that Soar, Menttium and Southern Methodist University MBA Associate Board - mentoring programs.
