VoltaicHD

VoltaicHD is a high definition video media conversion software application that enables you to convert footage shot with an AVCHD camcorder or DSLR camera so it can be more easily edited with PC video editing software (such as Movie Maker, Sony Vegas, or Adobe Premiere Pro) or Macintosh video editing software (such as iMovie, Final Cut Express, or Final Cut Pro).
Features
*The Mac OS X version can convert to any QuickTime supported video format. This includes iPhone, iPod, AppleTV, YouTube and many other popular formats. The default is AIC Quicktime.
*The Windows version can convert to WMV HD, AVI and also MOV.
*It also offers very handy Professional features, such as the ability to support 24p pulldown to restore a 24p clip encoded at 60i. The Mac OS X version can also export videos to ProRes 422.
*Allows the ability to extract just the audio from your AVCHD video.
*The details pane offers a simple first frame preview of the clip and some other handy details about the video.
*The PC version now has the ability to change the quality of the video. Very handy for those slower PC's which cant keep up with the FullHD quality videos.
VoltaicHD for PC runs under Windows XP/2003/Vista.
VoltaicHD for Mac is a Universal Binary application and requires a PowerPC G4, PowerPC G5, Intel Core-based or newer Macintosh running Mac OS X v10.4 or later. The trial version is limited to converting only the first 10 secs of a camcorder clip.
