VisualBB

VisualBB is a free and open source Internet forum software produced by Jeremy Howard. The VisualBB project started on November 24, 2007 with it's first line of code.
VisualBB runs on a number of operating systems that are able to support the PHP programming language, including Unix, Linux and Windows systems. The back end of the forum is powered by MySQL. Currently there are no other back end options.
History
VisualBB was started on November 24, 2007 by Jeremy Howard. In a attempt of finding a forum solution that fit his needs he decided the best thing to do was create his own solution. No intention of releasing it to the public he was encouraged by his friends to release it and see what happens. 0.1b is the first official release of VisualBB.
VisualBB will always remain a free solution to the public and support will be given for all stable versions of the software.
Currently 1.0 is in development and 2.0 is in planning stages.
