Snurbs IM is an instant messaging client for the Snurbs protocol . The name SnurbsIM is a recursive acronym for Snurbs instant messenger. Snurbs IM runs on Microsoft Windows XP / VISTA / 7 / 8 and it will be available for Windows Phone 8 soon. Released under a Proprietary license, Snurbs IM is a free software. History Snurbs Messenger was first released in July 2012 and there was 4 major updates from v1.0.0.1 to v1.0.0.4 the latest BETA version is 1.0.0.4 more stable and with new features and fully optimized for speed. Philosophy and features The goal of the Snurbs IM project is to provide a full-featured and easy instant messaging client for Windows XP,VISTA,7 users. Snurbs Messenger uses a very rich and easy GUI, so it does not require a lot of experience to run it, it works nicely under Windows environment. Some of its features: * Multi chat windows * GIF images support in profiles * Group chat support * Multi account logging * Emoticons, Avatars, File transfer, URL grabber, Bookmarks * Systray icon * Automated updates * End-to-end encryption support * Video and audio messaging * Multiple accounts support Snurbs Messenger is available in English, French and soon in Spanish and German.<ref name="dev-page" />
