Vishal Verma is an American Businessman ,an inventor ,and a entrepreneur focusing on homeland, cyber security and data science.Vishal is also a senior Advisor to the Gephardt Group and a senior General Partner at Edgewood Venture ,LLC.

Early life
While pursuing his MBA at Chicago Booth (2005-2007), Vishal co-founded the Hyde Park Angels (2007) to promote entrepreneurship in the Chicago land area. Vishal continues to be an active member of the Chicago club, The Indus Enterpreneurs (1995 ,As a Member) and Chicago Private Equity Networks.
Career
Prior to joining Edgewood, Vishal was a co-founder or had senior leadership roles at Akoria Networks, Geotouch and PointCross.
In 2002, Vishal has joined Edgewood ventures as senior general partner. .Edgewood is focusing on investing in the USA and India. He has made investments and on the board of directors of Edgewood Networks, Edgewood CureAir ,and HSMC.
Edgewood Networks is a joint venture with Juniper Networks and Edgewood Ventures. Edgewood is developing a secure and trusted networking products for the global market.
Vishal is responsible for HSMC’S finance and day-to-day operation. HSMC has recently been awarded a $2.2B package from the Govt. of India.
