Vinnie Vineyard, is an entertainer and Libertarian activist from Tennessee. He stars in the ASY TV television series . For many of his entertainment appearances, he uses the stage name Funkmaster V. Entertainment Career Vineyard's music career began as teenager when he formed a Christian band named "Big Fish". He has also been a bassist and vocalist in bands such as Omega Rage, Pimpin' Aint Easy, and Flipside Runner. Vineyard would often switch focus from his music career to pro wrestling career and back. He decided on the moniker Funkmaster V, tying his music career into his pro wrestling persona. Wrestling With Ghosts Vineyard teamed with fellow wrestlers "Big" Luke Walker and Travis Graves to create the comedic paranormal show Wrestling With Ghosts. The show's premise has the three pro wrestlers travel the American southeast, protecting a paranormal investigator. The show was picked up by ASY TV, and is heralded as the "Ghost Show With Soul." Political Activism In addition to his entertainment career, Vineyard is involved in Libertarian politics in Tennessee. In 2018, Vineyard is running with 22 other Libertarians to bring awareness to the issue of inequality in Tennessee's ballot access laws. They were dubbed "The Tennessee Twenty" by the national Libertarian Party. Although this was a run en masse from a publicity stand point, Vineyard's campaign (Believe in the Funk), started gaining momentum. Vineyard has received a respectable amount of media coverage during his run, highlighting the unfairness of the ballot access issue in Tennessee.
