Video Intercom System

Video Intercom defined as inter-communication between two persons via video and audio signals using microphone and video camera devices at both sides. Generally, there are two types of video intercom systems: analog (2-wire & 4-wire) and TCP/IP (SIP & WebRTC). Usually, the video intercom devices exist in two form factors: hardware Phones (embedded devices) and software phones (computer software applications).
Video Intercom for Visitor Management: Being using in residential and commercial buildings to visionary identify visitors and grant access to the visitors.
Video Intercom for Meetings: It may consists of more than two persons in a same conversations. Users can chat/voice chat/video chat to show presentations and share files among each others.
There are standardized computer protocols and network architectures for video intercom systems like SIP and WebRTC.
