Video Game Void

A video game "Void" is a cituation in which one (Or More) players, Exit the main match (in a video game) and appear to be stuck in another realm or "void" for a period of time. In most cases, the Voided player can see the other players but there usally walking into a wall or repeating the same action. There has also been reports of the player(s) having unlimited ammo or infinte shooting/hitting.
Cause
Most video game voids are caused by a short Lag attack. Usally the Voided player is the one who has the most lag, causing him to Lag into a void. Other Voids have been caused by a glitch or error in the game, whether the game has a problem loading or something has interferred with the progress.

Gears of War 2
In this cause the player was playing Horde with his friends (over Xbox Live) when they completed Wave 23, The player stepped into a "Void" During Wave 24. He saw one friend walking a wall, while the other repeated going into cover on a wall. The player has unlimited shotgun ammo. The player eventually left the Void and returned to normal back in Wave 26. When he returned to the Lobby, the game said he had never played Wave 25.
