VeryFirstTo is an online business, which enables individuals to be the first to know about, and have, newly launching luxury products and experiences. The company's website and e-zine showcase newly released desirable items, which are rated by a group of selected celebrity "connoisseurs". The company was founded by Marcel Knobil, the founder of Superbrands.
History
The company was founded by Marcel Knobil in 2012. Knobil also founded Superbrands and Cool BrandLeaders". VeryFirstTo launched in November 2012. The idea was inspired as a result of Knobil's own experiences: "Having found it impossible to establish what products and experiences brands were about to launch and what exciting new brands were soon be born, I thought it about time there was a site that identified such launches and enabled people to be amongst the very first to have them". According to Drapers, the website "allows shoppers access to a range of products within the world of fashion, beauty, technology, home and leisure; as well as informing them of the latest must attend venues and events".
VeryFirstTo Luxforecast is a quarterly survey of the most eagerly anticipated luxury products and experiences launching in the UK. The highest scoring receive VeryFirstTo Awards. The awards are decided by a panel of "connoisseurs", who rate forthcoming products and experiences in terms of which excite them most. The company's e-zine is dedicated to informing individuals of the latest and forthcoming luxury launches, and up-to-date information on the Luxforecast and its Awards.
