Venancio “Cadle” Gomani Jr. (born August 16, 1994) is a Zambian author, artist, computer engineer and entrepreneur from Lusaka city, Zambia, known for his short novel publication Quantos Rising. Gomani is the founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the media advertising and software development company, Active Software Systems as of May 24, 2017. He is also known for his appearance in in 2016 with popular local rap artist Dopsta Untamed. Early life and education Gomani was born in Kitwe, Zambia, to Ferlistus Tandeo (primary school teacher) and Venancio Gomani Sr., a civil engineer and road maintenance engineer. The family to Botswana where he spent a majority of his childhood. Moving from city to city within the foreign country, Gomani attributes this to being the beginning of his creative explorations into arts and literature. Gomani attended Muzi High school for his primary school education. In 2009, he went to David Kaunda Technical High School in where he graduated in 2011 before proceeding to tertiary education. He holds a Diploma in Computer Systems Engineering from Evelyn Hone College of Applied Arts and Sciences, and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering at DMI-St. Eugene University. Career Professional Career Gomani founded Active Software Systems in August 2014 while in his final year at Evelyn Hone College. He served for over 2 years as Creative Director of the firm before claiming the role of corporate representative despite being the founder of the company itself but shunned the position of CEO on account of not having had the necessary business skills to effectively run the firm. Short Stories Venancio Gomani is best known for his novel, Quantos Rising, which was released on December 8, 2015. He later announced that a sequel to the short story, T-16, would subsequently follow. Gomani began his endeavor to write his first full length novel, Ghost Tribes, and posted periodic updates online. Christian Books Venancio Gomani is also the author of three Christian books, Who and What a Christian Really Is, Biblical Knowledge, and Understanding Authority, which were self-published on Amazon and Kobo Books.
