Vedic Institute of Canada (Vedic Ashram) as founded by Dave Bhatia in September 2012 . Institute took over Former Princess Elizabeth P.S Ingersol l ,Ontario in May 2014. Institute is situated at 37 William Street .Ingersoll.. Institute has mission To disseminate, preserve and spread the timeless Vedic knowledge as expounded by Adi Shankaracharya To provide an opportunity in Canada to learn spiritual science of India from the qualified teachers of this knowledge. To offer guidance in practical Vedic techniques in Yoga and Meditation on a non-commercial basis, to sustain a life of wellness free from stress, depression, and other ills of modern fast paced highly materialist life. To help people appreciate the spiritual dimension of human existence that leads to a serene, joyful everyday living To establish a spiritual retreat where people can relax,rejuvenate and immerse in spiritual atmosphere in a picturesque setting for days or weeks
Institute has over 3 acre of land and 30,000 square feet building. Twice a year institute is holding one Vedic retreat session which include Body cleansing sessions, Power yoga Sessions and Senior education seminars Due to Vedic tradition and facility his name became Vedic Ashram

Vedic ashram at 37 william street, Ingersoll, Ontario,
Its aim is to disseminate spiritual knowledge in the following ways:
* Distribution of books, pamphlets and magazines on the subjects of Yoga and Vedanta
* holding and arranging spiritual conferences and discourses (Satsang)
* Establishing training centers for the practice of Yoga
* Enabling aspirants to develop their spiritual lives via systematic training in yoga and philosophy
* Establishing charitable organisations
* through the preservation of the ancient traditions and cultural practices of India

History
From Childhood Dave Bhatia had visited Ashrams in India and spend lot of time helping community and interactions with seniors.In 2012, after returning from a pilgrimage, He was honored to meet Swami Maha Mandeleshwar Shri Vishveshwara nand Giri Ji from Bombay India. He stayed in Canada for couple of days . Dave Bhatia Express his desire to open an Ashram which can help seniors to enjoy their second lastphase of life (Third and Forth Ashram as per Hinduism ,Vanprastha and Sanyas Ashram). In Sept 2012 Vedic Institute Of Canada was officially announced. The property for Ashram was bought in Ingersoll on May 8, 2014

* Vedic Ashram trains seekers in the practice of yoga as a general discipline for personal integration as well as for human welfare.
* Vedic Ashram distributes the cultural and spiritual books as well as the journals and other literature of Vedic Institute of Canada.
* Hare Krishna Publication League is the publishing arm of Vedic Institute of Canada.
* The Free Literature Section freely distributes books and other literature to seekers and aspirants worldwide.
* Free Vegetarian feast every Sunday after Spiritual Sundays.
