</noinclude> V. R. Nagendran is an Indian film director. He was a former assistant of Director Seeman and Susi Ganesan. He directed his first movie Kaaval which got released in June 2015. Personal life V. R. Nagendran was born on 28 May 1974 in Siruvalai, Madurai. Nagendran did his schooling in M.C hr sec school Madurai, before completing his Master Degree in Public Affairs from Madras University. Career V. R. Nagendran has acted in streak of movies in supporting roles. He had co-produced Vaazhthukal and Saroja. He was also the co-director of Vaazhthugal, Thiruttu Payale, Kanthaswamy and a Hindi film Shortcut Romeo. He worked as a production controller for Chennai 600028 II. He then announced his directorial debut in 2013 which was initially titled as Nee Yellam Nalla Varuvada. Vimal, Samuthirakani recruited to play prominent characters along with Punnagai Poo Geetha, producer of this film playing the lead actress, M. S. Bhaskar, Singamuthu, Imman Annachi and Kumki Ashwin playing supporting roles. G. V. Prakash Kumar was signed to produce the music. The movie was later titled as Kaaval and got released in 26 June 2015.
